Corporate Donors

Before I started The Americana Stars memorial, I knew I would need to get the materials donated because I just did not have the money. So I called upon various manufacturers that made the items I would need. The only non-negotiable criteria was that the items be made in the USA. I am so happy to say that everyone I called got on board with this project immediately and has been involved since I started 8 years ago. I am so lucky to have found such lovely, patriotic people!

If you are ever in need of the kind of supplies listed below, I hope you will thank them for their support by purchasing their products. They carry a full range of items, not just the ones that I am using. Just click on the links to go to their websites. Thank you!

dazorlogo
DAZOR MFG - Supplied 3 wonderful lighted magnifiers so that I could properly see the stars as I was stitching! Dazor Mfg.

ROBISON-ANTON - Supplied all of the embroidery floss used in the stitching. They supply large cones of floss (sorry, no 8 yd. skeins) and they use American cotton! Robison-Anton

warmlogo
THE WARM COMPANY - Supplied fusible interfacing so that the fabric used for the stars would be secure after stitching. They also sell a great line of batting products for stuffing quilts! The Warm Company

nordicnlogo
NORDIC NEEDLE - A wonderful needlearts supplier in North Dakota that caters to stitchers that do all kinds of stitchery products, with an emphasis on Hardanger, Blackwork and Swedish stitching techniques. But don't let it mislead you - they do it all and you will be taken care of by the nicest people! They still carry a link to the first major article written about The Americana Stars Memorial. Nordic Needle

HERRSCHNER'S - Supplied additional smaller items like needles. They also published the first major article about The Americana Stars Memorial in their magazine, Stitchers World, which has been renamed as Cross-Stitch & Needlework Magazine. I am grateful because that was how all of my participating stitchers found me! Herrschners

HOBBYWARE - Supplied the cross-stitching design software, Patternmaker. I love it! Hobbyware
